Griddle-Seared Steaks

Griddle
Succulent ribeye or sirloin steaks seared on a hot griddle with garlic butter, locking in rich flavors and creating a beautiful crust.

Ingredients
- 2 (10-12 Oz) Ribeye Or Sirloin Steaks
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- Salt And Pepper To Taste
- Fresh Rosemary Or Thyme (Optional)
Directions
Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Preheat your griddle to high heat and coat with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Place the steaks on the hot griddle and sear for 3-4 Minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer for desired doneness.
In the last minute of cooking, add 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter and 3 cloves of minced garlic to the griddle.
Spoon the garlic butter over the steaks as they finish cooking.
- Remove the steaks from the griddle, let them rest for 5 Minutes, and garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme if desired.
