Ingredients
- 1 Cup Ketchup
- 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed
- 1/4 Cup Molasses
- 1/4 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (Optional For Heat)
- 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
Directions
In a medium saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
Add the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, molasses, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well to combine.
Stir in the Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if using.
Bring the sauce to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Let it cook, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 Minutes until thickened.
Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
